Dear people of Aethesia,

I present to you the one and only official set of rules and they overrule the previous offical set of rules in the Members President topic.
Rule Set One: Requirements for Presidential Eligibility, Code 1
1.1 The President of Aethesia must be a Basic, Member, or Regular. New Users and Leaders are ineligible.
1.2 The President of Aethesia must have won the popular vote of his/her party and/or the popular vote of the Presidential Ballot.
1.3 The President of Aethesia cannot have been President for both of the two months prior to the current term.
1.4 The President of Aethesia cannot have been on the ballot for all three months leading up to the current term.
1.5 The President of Aethesia must play The Aetherlight: Chronicles of the Resistance.
1.6 The President of Aethesia must own Episode 1: Birth of the Resistance.
Rule set 2: Rules for voting on ballots, Code 2
2.1 A candidate may in no way bribe, threaten, or blackmail a voter in such a way that that voter changes/places his/her vote in any way other than that in which he/she would have originally placed it. (Consequences can range from disqualification to banishment from the political system permanently)
2.2 A voter may not use two or more accounts to place a vote on any ballot, the vote will not be counted and all the voters votes may not be counted.
2.3 A voter may not place a vote based on other people’s votes.
2.4 A voter may not place votes against a candidate because of personal resentment.
2.5 Ballots are final and any name not on it will not be on it unless I overlooked something.
Rule set 3: Ways in which votes are used, Code 3
3.1 All votes are final after the ballot is closed.
3.2 Ballots are used to determine the popular opinion of particular candidates and under the following conditions may not effect the Presidential selection:
-3.2.1 Voters have cheated in the following ways
—3.2.1.1 The voters have intentionally ganged up on a candidate
—3.2.1.2 One voter has stirred up the other voters against a candidate.
-3.2.2 Votes have intentionally all voted for the same candidate.
3.3 If a candidate uses spam posts to spread his campaign he will be disqualified.
3.4 Candidates are limited to ten 20 letter or less posts involving campaign promotion.
Rules Set 4: Responsibilities and powers of The President of Aethesia, Code 4
4.1 The President of Aethesia is responsible for fulfilling the promises of his campaign, a lack doing so will result in nothing more than a bad name.
4.2 The President of Aethesia can limit the number of Role-Play and spam posts daily unless hindered by the following:
-4.2.1 @moderators
-4.2.2 popular demand
-4.2.3 riots
4.3 The President of Aethesia must try to fulfill the demands of all Members2.
4.4 The President of Aethesia must fulfill the demands of the @moderators and Regulars..
4.4 The President can be removed and replaced when the following happens respectively:
-4.4.1 Ten people express there dislike of the current president being in office
—4.4.1.1 All who vote on the subsequent poll vote in favor of displacement.
—-4.4.1.1.1 The people vote on a new president.
4.5 The President must respect the Aethasian Court and its decisions.
Rules Set 5: Responsibilities of the people, Code 5
5.1 The people must try in all intention to obey the commands and desires of the president unless hindered by the following:
-5.1.1 @moderators
-5.1.2 parents
-5.1.3 The court
-5.1.4 This set of rules
5.2 The people have the responsibility to wisely select the president they believe will benefit the people better.
Rules Set 6: The court,Code 6
6.1 There will at all times be seven judges and if someone brings a suggestion for a new law to the court the seven judges vote on it and then the president must agree with the rule himself and make it official unless:
-6.1.1 All the judges vote in the same way.
6.2 Judges will be permanent, the current judges will hold there positions permanently until they resign, if a judge resigns or leaves the Forums the remaining judges and president must do the following respectively:
-6.2.1 Have The people chose between nine people which three should be judge candidates.
-6.2.2 Then The President and the remaining judges (7 people in all) vote on the remaining three candidates.
-6.2.3 The candidate that gets three or more votes becomes the new judge.
6.3 In case of court cases.
- 6.3.1 The judges watch a an argument between the two people/lawyers representing the people in the case contained in three(3) posts for the prosecutor and four(4) for the defendant.
-6.3.2 The judges then vote for the side they favor as they do new laws.
-6.3.3 If the prosecutor wins a new law is put in place banning what the defendant was doing or the law the prosecutor is trying to remove is removed.
-6.3.4 If the defendant wins nothing changes.
6.4 The President has no say in court cases unless he is involved.
6.5 Judges must act fast, if no judge votes on a new law within 12 hours of suggestion the law will pass automatically.

These laws are final and can only be altered by an act of the court. These laws have been put in place to organize the political system and to stop disputes.
