Yeah, the airplane scene I was like, "Do you think you knocked him out yet? Oh no, a couple more face bashes? Okay, I guess."
I'm wondering now if she was just taking out her frustration with men on them.
I'm gonna flex my Captain America fandom here. Dr. Erskine asked him if he wanted to kill Nazis, and Steve responded, "I don't want to kill anyone. But I don't like bullies, and I don't care where they're from."
So, I kinda take this as him saying, "I'll do what I need to stop them," but throughout the First Avenger he does mostly resort to a nice vibranium bump-on-the-head, but some scenarios he does end up killing Hydra soldiers. (At least I assume so, like when he threw that guy off the tank. He probably does kill a couple soldiers in that scene when D Company storms that building, and Cap is leading them, firing his pistol.)
Also, when Steve tells Peggy that Red Skull is dead, she asks him if that was the plan, and he replies with "That's a little bit tougher to explain." So, obviously he didn't understand what happened with the Tesseract, but it sounds like he was planning to capture Red Skull, otherwise he would've just replied "Yes."
Also, I watched the latest What If with Party Thor. I definitely recommend it to all of you. It's more humor oriented, and the only fighting is comical and no one gets hurt.
Anyways, that's my rant for the day.
