This is the superbook Salvation poem & I'm sorry but this is the simplicity of the gospel message, if anyone like Todd Friel wants to add to it with his legalism thats a problem. Does every child or person who sings this song truly have salvation and is born again no because you have to mean it in your heart and yes I'm going to use the word heart or your soul we're not going to be legalistic about the words here you have to accept Jesus in your heart and you have to embrace the gospel message and mean it, you can't just sing the song and not truly mean it l, you have to let the Holy Spirit go in your heart but if we're going to be legalistic here and say this is not the gospel message then I would call you a false teacher.
"for all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God"
Romans 3:23
Jesus, You died upon a cross
And rose again to save the lost
Forgive me now of all my sin
Come be my Savior, Lord, and Friend
Change my life and make it new
And help me, Lord, to live for You
Change my life and make it new
And help me, Lord, to live for You
to live for You
to live for You
to live for You
to live for You
to live for You
to live for You...
Jesus, You died upon a cross
And rose again to save the lost
Forgive me now of all my sin
Come be my Savior, Lord, and Friend
Change my life and make it new
And help me, Lord, to live for You
Change my life and make it new
And help me, Lord, to live for You
to live for You
to live for You
to live for You
to live for You
to live for You
to live for You..
Change my life and make it new
Help me Lord, to live for You
Change my life and make it new
Want to make it new
And help me, Lord, to live...
to live for You
Let the Lord's Name Be Glorified, Amen
