As of now, the second wrench has no use in game. There is potential in the future episode that it might be used again or turned in for a prize of some sort. This is only a rumor though. Stay tuned in for more.

I’m pretty sure that it’s a glitch. I left it sitting there for my double, @Ranger_Direnight, and it disappeared by the time I came back.
