You can get feathers by leaving flower petals on the bird feeders in the Flying L.

NOTE: For 6 months, it has been broken so that you can't get flamingo feathers. It looks like you get them, but nothing is added to your inventory. So it only works for getting fire feathers currently.

_{But try one of each kind of flower petal, and if I'm wrong and it now works, we can all celebrate.}

Hey @Mr_A14! As of yet, blue feathers (and a lot of other items) have not been implemented into the game. I figure @Mech_Lightspark will tell us when those items have been added though! :0)

As for your character bug, are you playing on a tablet? The new update isn't out yet on that platform (It will be soon hopefully though!), and therefore there are some issues with making characters there. Whichever platform you use, a screenshot would help me and others know what's going on more fully. :0)
