How do I get into the junkyard?

I used to be able to get into the junkyard but now it won't let me.
I keep putting aether into the great engine but it still won't let me in.
Did they change how to get into the junkyard? Any help would be appreciated.

I had this problem too and I realized I was filling the wrong Engine

I think that multiple players have to be filling it. I've spent a ton of time filling it and the gat not open.

Which engine did you put the aether in originally to get into the junkyard?

The engine usually takes a few fills to clear the fog. When there's a lot of players, it's possible people have already been filling it, so it can take you only one fill or two because people have been helping you. When there aren't a lot of people logged on, you need to fill it about 4-5 times, I think?

Just for reference:
The Town Square's Engine opens the Junkyard.
The Engine Bay's Engine opens the Greenshade Caverns.
The Northern Slurries' Engine opens the Abandoned Labs.

It used to open with the Engine bay engine. At least I thought it did. Could have been someone else putting it in the town square Engine at the same times I was trying to get in..

I’m not on right now, but I know a bunch of people are on at the moment who would be willing to help! I think some of them went to the Isle.

I was told the fog gates would not come down at all because of a bug. Is that true or should I start filling the engines with aether again and again?

It is a bug, unfortunately! The tech team is working on it, and that’s all we know at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience!
