My apologies for any consternation (read: confusion mixed with anger or irritation) my college topic may have caused. I probably need to work on better elucidating my erudite vernacular (read: making my brainy vocabulary more clear) for younger audiences. Fortunately, if you have trouble reading it, it likely will be a few years before you need it!
At least, I hope...no seriously, this is my bad, it's on me. Unfortunately (here I go again!) college is a complex subject and a spiritual battle that many of us have to face, but I would not rush into it if you are in younger grades. There's something to be said for enjoying being a kid without having to rush into the adult world. But that's why it's so long...
@Milady_Despark Going into Russian missionary work is a noble calling indeed, and being able to play the piano will probably help! But you may need to learn the Russian language before going...and the way most people learn that is...college.
Not that I'm an advocate for college or anything - I don't like school that much. If you can find another way to learn Russian, go for it, and you may be able to find connections to support your missionary work thanks to your dad. But going into missionary work may not necessarily evade college for you. Things may change on that.
