You can still view stuff like badges, and check the guidelines on the forums without signing in.
Just can't view profiles though, which makes sense…
I used to do that a lot before I finally got to sign in.

If a new member such as myself whose posts still need to be moderated clicked on the profile of a full member such as you self they can see the different badges that inform the onlooker of the status of the member ship of the person that I observe. The trust levels go as follows, Basic, Member, and Leader.

Also yes I am indeed good friends with Miss Dearsnap.
