Rise of the Aethermatron Army (Part 1)
Under cover of night, I was walking through the Snowmoors with my best friend Dr. Meh. We were headed for the Abandoned Labs. "This is where we're hiding the secret project. I was sent to inspect the inventory." I said. "And guess what? We even got a crazyawesome door guard."
"Cool, who is it?" Dr. Meh asked.
"Yeah, we made a truce with him. Turns out the guy loves snow-globes. He has a whole collection." I pulled a snow-globe out from a compartment in my side. "All I have to do is give him this and he let's me pass!"
Dr. Meh looked worried. "Umm, you sure about this, buddy?"
"Yup! Let's go.
"We raced through the labs and reached Bigfoot. "Yo! Bigfoot, my man! Wussup, Dawg?"
"Maxlance, have you brought me a peace offering?"
"Sure did, dude! Here ya go!" I handed the huge Auto the globe.
Bigfoot inspected it carefully with a growl. "Good. You and your friend may pass." He put it on a shelf with the rest of his collection.
We entered the Abandoned Factory within the Abandoned Labs. The Resistance had repaired the place since I lit it up earlier, and converted it from a Fogmatron factory into the perfect place for the secret project.
"Here it is, Dr. Meh!"
The Doctor examined the enormous room. It was now a factory that worked with Aether tech. "Cool. What does the Resistance plan to do with all this Aether tech?"
"The Scarlet Man is using us to create more Aethermatrons. Crazyawesome, right?"
"What? More Aethermatrons?! What does the Scarlet Man plan to do with more Aethermatrons?"
I smiled. "Don't worry, I'll tell you soon enough."
I looked over to Aislinn and Emmalee, who were working an Aether-powered crane.
"That's good guys, you can drop it right there."
The crane dropped a large, metal box and I walked over to inspect it. I opened the container and counted the pieces of Aether tech. "Yep, should be enough."
Soon Dr. Meh and I left the Abandoned Labs and traveled to the Blessing.
I saluted. "Mission complete, Mr. Alex, sir. We have enough supplies to continue this project."
"Thanks, Etlo, and um … It's Alexander."
I nodded. "Yep, Alex and her. I think it's sweet that you love your wife so much you always want me to address both of you together."
The couple looked at each other weird. "Well, anyway, Etlo." Alex continued. "I think the R.S.I. needed you back at base, so you'd best get going."
I saluted again. "Sir, yes sir!"
I fist-bumped Dr. Meh. "I'll see ya later, man."
"See ya, buddy." Dr. Meh replied.
I met up with Vytanni and Jacoby at base. They told me to go to the Old Tower and check on the Warfalcon. I asked them if I could put the prisoner out of our misery, but they wouldn't let me.
On my way there, I saw Xonos wearing a seaweed green cloak instead of that tall top hat. I wasn't sure what he was doing up so late, or what he was up to, but I didn't really care.
I reached the tower and was surprised to find that the prisoner had escaped! "BIRDMAN?!" I yelled. "BUT YOU'RE CAPTURED! HOW THE BIGFOOT DID YOU GET OUT?!"
The. Chase. Was. ON!!!!
I chased Birdman through town while using my communication device to tell Goku about the escape. He sent Jacoby and Vytanni as backup. Eventually Birdman took control of two Bombardiers using a control gauntlet and threatened us with them. (I KNEW HE WAS AN IMPERIAL SPY!!!) Birdman got all sassy with me again and tried to warn me off. So I decided to play it tough. I told him about my abs of steel, LITERALLY! That didn't work, so I told him about the time I smashed not one, not two, but three Bombardiers in one swing!
"Stand down, Maxlance!" He said, so I decided to take action. I charged. But then …
Birdman unleashed his rage!
The explosion threw us back. Birdman flew the coup (Again) but I was furious. Vytanni stayed back with Jacoby to do lame stuff like looking for her mask (Which flew off in the explosion) but I ran ahead, searching for the Warfalcon.
The explosion almost hurt Vytanni! BIRDMAN WAS GOING TO PAY! AND I MEAN PAY HARD!! REAL HARD!!!
I used my heat scanner to search for him in the night, but couldn't find him.
Oh, but when I did … When I did he was going to get smashed so hard he'd envy the tin cans I smashed in battle-training.
The next morning …
I tried to forget everything that happened the night before, but I couldn't stop thinking about it. Either way, the secret project was more important than my rage at the moment. I travelled to the Snowmoors and met up with Dr. Meh. "Alright, time to tell you what this is all about."
We entered the hidden factory after giving Bigfoot a snow-globe. "The reason the Scarlet Man wants more Aethermatrons is because he's using us to raise an Army … " I said, pausing for effect.
"An Aethermatron Army."
