Crystal hunt

I am looking for some parts and some seem to have no way to be found. in specific I am looking for fluorite crystals and chromium crystals can you help?

These are new elements that have come from the new (semi?) update. They are found occasionally in barrels and crates around, and also in the Lagoon (A new area) and mine areas from fights and barrels/crates in said mines.

Also, for some reason I can't fight any of the automatons in the Fogstone Mines or Depths. I couldn't fight them at all before, but now I can in the Tunnels. Much confused.

Where does one get Chromium crystals, Quartzite crystals, green ice, and pressurized oil? I've been to the lagoon and all the way into the Fogstone Depths, but I've never gotten any.

Rarely you can find crystals in barrels or fights in the lagoon, ice is in the Slurries/Mount, and oil hasn't been implemented yet I think.

I've only ever seen Chromium (red) or Quartzite (white) in fight rewards, specifically the boss fight in the Fogstone Tunnels, probably others.

The blue and green ones I get a lot from boxes and barrels in the Fogstone Depths. Each area in the fogstone mine complex seems to have different items, so spend time in each of them.

Honestly the main thing to be concerned with is iron ore. Need it for crafting the sword, so should concern everyone.

I've done a lot of running around and only a little fighting down there, so I think I saw it in fight rewards in the Fogstone Caverns, and maybe a very-rare drop in the Fogstone Tunnels, but hard to tell since it's the same color as coal and another type of ore...maybe tantalum?

Anyway, has anyone discovered the best place to get iron ore?

That one room before the depths is where I got all my iron ore. I didn’t get any in fights only got it from boxes ( believe me, it took hours to get three stinkin’ pieces of iron... ).

Ok, so, several questions.
1) Where does one get the plans for the sword? I know what the sword IS, I've seen it in use, but I can't seem to find the plans for it.
2) Has anyone been able to complete the "trouble afoot" mission from Alexander AND get back into the lagoon? I completed the mission, but after I left the lagoon the gear just disappeared.
3) Regarding the "trouble afoot" mission, When I first completed it, a sequel mission appeared on the No Man's Landing mission board. I went to Smugglers Cove thinking, "oh, I have a mission for it so the gear will let me in".
NO GO.
So I tried again on a different character. I again completed the mission, but this time the second mission didn't appear on the board.
4) Does anyone have an idea as to
a) why there is lava in the fogstone depths and
b) why there is a boiler in the fogstone depths + an explosive device on the beach like the one used on the isle boiler??????

1) The sword plans come from the treasure chests in both the Fogstone Depths and the Fogstone Cavern (so it was a disappointment that we didn't get something new from the second chest).

2&3) No. It's a known issue for every player, so the Devs tweaked Trouble Afoot so that it's harder to "complete" (because we don't want to complete it until they fix this), and then they disabled the follow-up quest, which I think is Clearing the Fog. They were not able to figure out how to get the Lagoon Entrance to just become permanent yet, as the original developer is no longer on the team and didn't leave notes.

4) All questions that we hope to get answers for once the next Chapter is released. For context, the Lagoon and Fogstone Mines are new areas that were only opened up early 2022.
