(That's really what went through my mind when I read your post... No offense. Macs are just irritating for me. I am more of a Windows guy.)
I completely agree, but I have to deal with it till I convince myself to buy something of my own.
Totally go for Win10. I fully recommend. Much easier to be powerful on.
Never thought otherwise.
And everyone knows I have a need to be powerful...
I guess... Have you tried Unity? It technically isn't a game, but you can make your own games on it, and it is really powerful. If you want, I can post a link with a YouTube channel that gives really good walk-throughs about Unity.
Don't beat up Mac people. Macs are very good for a wide range of people and just because they aren't for you doesn't mean they aren't for someone else. Macs have much better workflow than Windows, while Windows is much better at compatibility. If you want control and customization Linux is by far the champ. If you wanted me to develop an AI give me Linux, if you wanted me to play Minecraft give me Windows, and if you wanted me to write a paper give me a Mac.
I have actually, not very extensively though.
Hans freakishly switching between computers
Cool! I haven't been on in a while. I have been busy.
No, just operating systems. You can get virtual computers that can run different operating systems inside of, lets say, your Mac. That way, you can run multiple operating systems at once.
I was just joking. lol
Excuse me? Windows? IT? what are you talking about Linux is the best.
Don't believe his lies, get a dual boot of Linux and Windows. WIndows for school, work, etc and Linux for gaming.
I never really have used linux, so I can't argue, but I do like windows more than mac. :0)
How do you do double like that? My knowledge is lacking.
You have to partition your drive and then separately boot each system into the specifically formatted drive partition from an external device. Generally you have to boot each individually from the BIOS.
That sounds way to complicated for my simple mind.
Basically, you split your hard drive in half, and tell the computer to boot both instead of just one. (@Hans_Oddcraft, am I getting this right?)
Just one at a time.
Does anyone of any PCs to recommend? Monitor or computer.
This is what I have, and it has served me well.[https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/laptops/15-intel/spd/inspiron-15-3580-laptop?gacd=9694607-1007-5761040-266781430-0&dgc=st&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsueD6ZKF8AIVJW1vBB17Ow6_EAAYASAAEgLrF_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds]

I know a fair amount of unity now, enough to make a small FPS.
