It's a .pgn, so you should be able to copy and paste it.
It won't let me... I can copy the text tho
There should be a place to paste it. It depends on where you are using the engine.
The text? Also, where would you recommend me using it?
Yeah, the text can be pasted in a .pgn field to be loaded into an engine.Lichess has the best free analysis software. Chessbase is good if you want to get serious.
Okay. How should I read analysis?
Read the engine lines and try them out for yourself, or look at what moves are commonly played by GMs.
Okay. I've been analyzing more of my games on chess.com w/o review and getting some good out of it. I think I need to work on my vision. :0)
On a different note, I'm pushing 700! My last two games showed me that I need to know how to adapt my opening. Any tips for that?
Playing OTB with long time controls, but not necessarily correspondence, is good for vision.
Let's go! I generally study Grandmaster games to learn variations in my openings. I use Chessbase, but Lichess also has a master's database.
Okay. I'll need to do that. I'm shooting for a title someday! lol
Keep it up, I'm right there with you.
Okay, I'm at Chessbase... Where do I input the text?
You should probably use Lichess unless you want to pay for Chessbase. Chessbase isn't super useful if you don't pay.
Ah I figured from the UI
SFTDP
Got it on Lichess. Thank you for helping! :0)
My rating performance at the Mid-American Open was better than Alexandra Botez's at the Reykjavik Open. Can I just have the title now?
You want to be a female master?
Anything for free chess.com.
Did you hear Giri was elected CEO?
