Well, you don't win chess tournaments by not playing.
As you can see, I took that as a challenge. I must live up to my late grandfathers chess skills.
I just got surprised with 'en passant'. .... when... did this become possible? Has this always been a thing? I never knew of it's existence.
It has so many requirements for it to be legal, it rarely comes up.
It has to taken at the first opportunity, the taken pawn had to have moved two spaces forward, etc.
Yeah, I read about it. Has it always been a thing, though?
I believe it has been
I guy I know used it on me and I was so confused
Lol, let’s go!
As far as I know, it has always been a thing, just rarely used. Interestingly, I recently used en passant on Kit.
It’s like a thing you buy that gives you instruction on how to make stuff. They have model rockets kits, toy car kits, etc. he used the chess kit…
Very insightful. Thank you, Sir Puddly.

...Um... I meant Kit as in Kit Maxfeather...
I'm playing a big tournament this weekend, guys. I'll keep you updated.
I ended up with two wins and three draws. A clean go for the section I was playing. I saw an increase in my USCF rating and I came within half a point of a $300 prize, but ended up tying for third place.
