I can't make anything out of the first one, either. Maybe it's a separate code that the Empire uses? In the second one, I can make out (at least what appear to be) a Y, a U, and an H, giving us "_ Y _ - U H _", which seems to be gibberish. The mystery deepens...

What I'm more interested in is the other writing on the plans, which seems to be cursive English, albeit hard to read. Above the Aethermeter, it reads: "it appears that this device has some relation(?) to the command(?) aetherlight" Surrounding that gauntlet, we have "a gauntlet to wear on your left hand...for controlling(?) aether..." and I can't make out the phrase at the fingertips.

Wait a minute... Another wild guess here: According to loading screen hints, gauntlets are used by Autofficers to control the Automatons. Maybe the Aether gauntlet will grant a similar ability, to control Automaton allies? If so, that's some insane foreshadowing to have that clue all the way back in Episode 1.

I've just finished reading this, but what is Shepherd's Watch? And amazing work @Yoshi_Jumpfix1 I used to think it was gibberish.

The Shepherd's Watch is a secret "cape" outfit you can unlock the recipe for by completing a trading quest. The game doesn't give you too much of an indication of how to get it, but I posted a hint earlier in this topic in reply to someone else.

Well, well, well, what have we here? I've been using my Dreamweaver all over Evergreen Meadows, and I found what seems to be the only thing that reacts to it: A monolith at the very north end.

"Stride b(e)neath the d(e)ep,
Your awauatic raiments keep;

Your breath for lofty climb,
And should you make good time;

The splendid spectrum mane,
Rewards those one(s) who came."

(Letters in parenthesis are unseen, but assumed.)

So what could this mean. It seems like some sort of riddle leading to a sort of hidden reward: A "Splendid Spectrum Mane"? Whatever it is, it sounds colorful. But what is this "awauatic raiments"? Have I mistranslated...?
