Welcome to Boomtown!
{https://forums.theaetherlight.com/t/welcome-to-boomtown/8208}
Name: Monroe Goggleloop.
Alias/Nicknames: None.
Age: 24.
Appearance: Tan skin, clean shaven. Dark brown hair -- approaching ebony -- slicked back. Dark Blue eyes. Average build. He wears knee-high boots, trousers, gloves that stretch to the middle of his forearms, and a button-down tunic, all black. He also has a grey undershirt.
Weapons: A flintlock pistol tucked into his boot.
Personality: He's a polished man, not at all grim of character, though he's often the last one to speak in a crowd, but not because he's shy; he just prefers to keep his thoughts to himself. He's one of the first to volunteer for any kind of work, though, because he truly wants to make Aethasia a better place.
Back-Story: Monroe Goggleloop was adopted by a wealthy family in Evercity and grew up a relatively peaceful and happy life, having almost anything he could think to ask for. However, as the years passed, the Empire began to move in on his house, intending to draft them all to become autofficers. After several more years, Monroe's parents finally relented their rebellion and were assimilated into the Empire. However, they soon realized just how wrong they were to do it and openly opposed the Empire. Naturally, they were executed for it.
Then the Empire turned their sights to Monroe. Inheriting his late parents' substantial amount of sovereigns -- and their troubles -- Monroe decided to abandon the only home he knew; for he didn't want to share his adoptive parents' fate. So, he packed up all his sovereigns and whatever else he could carry that meant something to him and sought asylum at the home of his childhood friend, Edward Cobb. However, to Monroe's surprise, Edward's things were already packed. His friend divulged to Monroe that he was in a similar situation, but he actually had a way out. He said that he heard from a friend's friend that his friend's father was bunking with an old friend who had just returned from this faraway place called Boomtown, a small dustball of a town nestled near Giant Seed Forest, and the Boomlands. But most importantly, it wasn't known much around Aethasia. It was the perfect spot to hunker down from the Empire, at least until things got better. So, Monroe trusted Edward with his life and followed him to a hidden train, the one which he said would take them to safety -- to Boomtown. Fortunately, they arrived just in time and were able to get two spots on the last car.
Abilities: He's not bad with a pistol but is more of a smooth-talker than a guns-blazing kind of guy.
Job: N/A.
Likes: Being kind to others and sharing a close kinship with them, his sovereigns, and being in control of a situation. He also prefers to be inconspicuous in a large gathering.
Dislikes: Fog, the Empire, and feeling rushed to think something over, especially something important.
Strengths: His sovereigns and quick wit. Once he puts his mind to something, it can't easily be changed.
Weaknesses: His stubbornness in some situations can also be detrimental.
Amethyst Mountain
{https://forums.theaetherlight.com/t/amethyst-mountain/4881}
Name: Everest.
Race: Dragon.
Nicknames: Elder.
Appearance:

Personality: Everest is a gentle dragon brought up by his late father Zelain. He's tasked to defend Amethyst Mountain from all kinds of threats, be it Dragon Hunters, or other dragons. (Though, he would be considered gentle compared to others of his species.) At first, Everest is wary of betrayal, but if one were to gain his trust, he would be a very loyal friend. Unlike many other dragons, he does not despise Aethasians, instead simply disliking them very much.
Likes: Keeping his friends and allies safe as well as making progress toward the future of peace between all dragons. Also, he has a hobby of organizing, and likes seafood.
Dislikes: Dragon Hunters, Abraxas, and anyone else who stands in the way of peace.
Weaknesses: Sometimes Everest can be stubborn when an idea is proposed that is different than what he would like.
Friends: None.
Enemies: The same as dislikes.
Name: Abraxas.
Race: Dragon.
Nicknames: Traitor, Dragon Hunter.
Appearance:

Personality: The epitome of evil, Abraxas uses his cunning and otherwise underhanded tactics to get what he wants, no matter how much others might suffer. He prefers to work alone but will side with Dragon Hunters if it means he will achieve victory, however, if it benefits him, he will betray everyone faster than they can say, "Hey, we had a deal!"
Likes: He absolutely loves winning and rubbing it in the faces of those under him. Additionally, he finds it amusing to hunt other dragons for sport.
Dislikes: He hates losing, swearing allegiance to anyone but himself, most other dragons, and really doesn't care for hatchlings either, but most of all, he detests Aethasians with all his black heart, believing them to be pitiful, and far lesser beings.
Weaknesses: Abraxas often lets his arrogance get the better of him. Believing that no one can beat him often causes him to make potentially fatal mistakes. Though, his scorching fire and quick wits have so far saved him from such blunders.
Friends: His own evil self.
Enemies: Most other dragons hate Abraxas because of his past associations with the Dragon Hunters. That, and his irritable presence and tendency to boast unending, which drives most beings insane.
