Hmm. This reminds me of an old Celtic worship CD my parents have (which I like) and Lindsey's Stirling's "I Wonder as I Wander". I have to wonder at the message of that song - it sounds very Maximum Ride lol. Fitting for the master of Skyraiders.
(It's kinda ironic that you're talking about my country songs being too slow and then you give me even slower songs, though I think you were talking about people in general instead of yourself.)
As for the tunes being old, that's because the songs are old - that album came out in 1959! I think the anti-country thing is because of modern country in some respects that - you're right - doesn't have enough energy or good lyrics like old country does. I'm not a fan of the "Christian Country" movement as much, through I do recall liking one tune from Crowder. To each their own.
