We planted corn, potatoes, squash, tomatoes, and I am not sure what else. There were several fam members helping.

Maybe someday we'll move into a place where we have at least a balcony again. I miss growing herbs. Rosemary is really nice, as are oregano and basil. We tried growing lettuce a few times, but it was a little more tricky. Tomatoes were a tossup. My tabasco pepper plant did well, though.

I have found pepper plants to be incredibly hardy and pest resistant. I have considered planting a perimeter of them around a garden to ward off pests.

I’m actually contemplating starting a new garden, but it would actually need to be elevated off the ground otherwise the gophers and rabbits would eat it alive. And perhaps surrounded by a fence to keep the deer away. It also probably would need a drip irrigation system that I am not capable of building.

This is sounding like a massive project that will never happen. But now I have an excuse to research this incredibly dim possibility. So if anyone happens to know anything about garden boxes, drip irrigation, or fencing, let me know lol.

this year i have my own two rows in our garden and our garden is big my row includes brocoly cauliflower pepper onions squash tomatoes zucchini two kinds of peppers and two kinds of tomatoes

Depending on where your garden is and the surrounding area, you could try using clear fishing line to string up around the garden. I think we did that for a communal garden once, but I don't remember how effective it ended up being. Deer aren't averse to squeezing under fences. As far as irrigation...you could lay boards on top of bricks and put your plants in pots with drainage holes, or if you do a little more construction and build a box garden, you could use a drill to make holes in the bottom.
Also, if you grow something like strawberries, netting is your friend for birds.

Now we have a lot more things in the garden. Every year we have a LOT of things from last year that come up in our garden.
We have so many sunflowers!
