Luke's face was badly animated.
I know it is impossible to perfectly copy human faces/facial movements using cgi, but I can't get over the attempts. Still grossed out by the fake-ness.
I would have been fine if they had chosen a different Jedi, one that does not require cgi.

Here is my wishful thinkin for an ending,

Spoiler/Theory

So everything stays the same up until the dark troopers come back. Then my ending takes place. Luke doesn't come, and the have to fight the dark troopers. Mando leads the attack with the dark saber and he tosses the beskar staff to Cara dune or Bo-katan and then they take down most of the dark trooper. Then while they are still fighting Grogoo is watching the cams to see what is happening and then the x-wing boards the ship. Mean-while Mando and the rest have beaten the dark trooper and are just heading back when Luke comes out of the lift. Then it ends the same as before. Just a thought.

Ezra came instead of Luke. When I first saw Luke fighting, I was like “Oh my goodness! He has a green lightsaber! Ezra uses a green lightsaber!” And then I saw it was Luke and I was so disappointed..

I bet you a bunch of people are SUPER disappointed about the ending.

Summary

I thought they did okay animating Luke, but my mom noticed his eyes were kinda weird, but I thought he was fine lol. I agree Mando shoulda used that Dark Saber. Not to mention his fight with Gideon was pretty anticlimactic. And all Bo-katan has to do is punch Mando on the face and he drops it, and boom, Dark Saber is hers. YES I WANTED EZRA SO BADLY Okay I haven't seen Rebels a lot (about to start it, almost done with Clone Wars) but I really thought Ezra had a blue lightsaber from what I remember. But then I saw the green and 'Oh it's Luke'. And then I saw how his hand was gloves 'Yeah it's definitely Luke'. I think Ezra would have made more since. Just because Luke won't start the temple for at least another 10 years. So where Grogu then? Did Ren kill him? Did he run away? What happened to Baby Yoda!!??!!

My sister was thinking it was Ezra too. The problem with Ezra is that not everybody knows who he is. There are star wars fans that read/watch everything Star Wars-related, and then there are fans that only watch the main series. Ezra was not introduced in the main series, and therefore would not be known by all.
That would be kind of awkward to have such a dramatic entrance of a Jedi, and the viewers be like, "who the heck is he...?"

And yeah, I was totally thinking Mando would use the darksaber.

The Book of Boba Fett? Eh, not really interested. I was more surprised to see Jaba's right-hand-alien was on the throne at one point.

I loved this episode. I also agree with you guys that Ezra should've definitely come instead of Luke. I've always wanted to learn what happened with Ezra, and the fact that they mentioned Thrawn, and might I add did nothing about that storyline, but didn't mention Ezra. That just hurt.

It took me 'bout a year or 2 to finish Rebels, partly because I started watching them before season 4 and maybe season 3 came out, and also I couldn't buy them so I had to wait to borrow them from the library and then also when I borrowed them I had to return them before I could get that far since I could only watch stuff when my dad does so I watch different stuff with him. But then Disney Plus came out then I finished them.

Sorry, back to topic I don't think that they did too bad of the animation for Luke though. I wonder what they will do next for

Now to the thing of Awesomeness. The Book of Boba Fett.

Having watched Star Wars from a somewhat young age, I really like Boba Fett. I can't wait to see what happens next with the new series. I would wait till 2025 just for Boba Fett. And for Bib Fortuna, well, let's just say he got a bit... larger.
