I saw Rogue One recently.

I just saw Rogue One (finally) and was really disappointed with the ending. Seriously, why, Disney. JUST TO ADD A FEW TEARS!!! But at least it answers a question that people have had for a long time, and explains about what Leia said (great losses etc) in Episode IV. And the acting was pretty good. Favorite character: K-2SO.

How many people here have seen it, too?

I heard she finished her role in VIII, but not IX. So either they will edit VIII to make her die, or they will digitally use her face in IX. J. J. Abrams actually talked about this. He wanted to kill off older Star Wars character before they, you know, actually die. That's why Han Solo's gone.....
