Here is the first section of my role-play!
Location: Fairy Creek
Luna was canoeing on the creek with her friends Toren and Selenia, when they saw a purple glow. It came from a cave on the creek bank. “Let’s go check it out!” Luna suggested. “That’s a good idea,” said Toren sarcastically. “No way!” Said Selenia. “Ok, but if anything happens to me, it’s your fault.” With that, Luna started rowing toward the cave. “She has a point,” Selenia said. “We better go with her.” With that, the two began rowing after Luna. At the cave, they jumped out and pulled their boats ashore. The glow was bright. The mouth of the cave sloped downwards. “We can slide down!” Luna said excitedly. She jumped into the entrance of the cave and disappeared. “Can we not go there?” Asked Toren. Selenia sighed. “We have to make sure she’s ok,” she said. Cautiously, they climbed down. At the bottom, Luna was reading a leather-bound book. The glow was strong in the cave. There was a chest sitting in a pool of stagnant water. Luna suddenly looked frightened. “We have to get out of here!” She screamed. She showed the girls the book. ‘Rockslides prone in Smuggler’s Cave,” it said. The girls tried to scramble out of the cave, but rocks started to fall, blocking the exit. “Wow, thanks for leading us into a death trap!” Toren screamed as more rocks started to fall. Selenia pushed the girls into a nook and ran after them. The last rocks fell, blocking their view.
Location: Smugglers Cove
Toren forced her eyes open. She was sitting near a burned-out fire ring. Next to her, there was an open crate. She peeked inside. There was a red bottle filled with liquid and labeled ‘Solevnt’. She picked it up and stood. There were two...wait, robots? One robot was guarding a cave that looked strangely familiar, and the other was walking straight towards her. “Yikes!” She exclaimed. She ran around the robot and noticed an exit. When she ran out, she was standing near a burning airship and a sign that said, ‘No Man’s Landing, this way!’ She looked around. Where was she?
Location: No Man’s Landing
Selenia looked around. She was lost. One minute, she was in a cave trapped by falling rocks, and the next she was in a bustling city? She glanced around. There were a lot of people going to and fro. Selenia decided that the first thing to do was find Toren and Luna. First, she checked what looked like two entrances to the city. One looked like it led to a farm. Selenia made a mental note to check it out later. The other looked like it led to nowhere. Nothing. She turned around and walked on the docks. A crane lifting green rocks was guarded by a...robot? There was a boat called Windsail, but no sign of her friends. She checked all over the city. No sign of them. Selenia caught sight of a lemonade stand. Good, she thought. She checked her pockets. She had a nickel and two pennies. She walked up to the lemonade stand. A sign hung above a bell said, 'Ring for service.' A heavyset man appeared. "Can I help you?" He asked tiredly. "Yes, I'd like a cup of lemonade," Selenia said. "That'll be one spring," he replied. Selenia fumbled in her pocket and pulled out the nickel. "Will this do?" She asked. The man took it, looked at it, and smiled. "I'll take it!" He said. He gave Selenia a small cup of lemonade. Selenia walked to the part of the city called Urchin's Grotto. There was a little girl with red pigtails. "Could I have some food?" Selenia asked. The girl examined Selenia. "You new here?" She asked. Selenia nodded. "You'll 'ave to pay," the girl remarked. Selenia held out a penny. "Are you daft, girl? What could I use that for?" Selenia offered the urchin her half-full lemonade cup. "I'll take that!" The girl exclaimed. Selenia sat down, and the girl gave her a moldy piece of bread. "Snitched it from the Bakery," the girl remarked. Then, she gave her some milk mixed with honey. Selenia started to eat.
Location: Greenshades Cavern
Luna sat up. She was surrounded by rocks with twinges of green on them. She crawled out a small hole, and shuddered as the green stuff brushed against her skin. She found a nook in the rocks and curled up. She still had the book. It was titled the 'Postman's Journal.' She opened it, and out fell some pieces of paper. Some of the sentences were underlined in purple. She picked up the pages and slid them back into the book. She was lost. She wandered around, and saw a light. Dropping to her hands and knees, she crept toward it. There were a few people sitting around a campfire. Luna dropped onto her stomach, so she could hear what they were saying. "We can't just go there because some pirate says he saw the Great Engineer!" One of them was saying. The other two looked unconvinced. "Why not?" Asked one. "Evercity isn't too far away if you take the Copper Petal," the other protested. The first one just shook his head and pulled something out of a crate. Luna's heart leapt. They had food! Slowly, she crept toward the crate while the group was bickering. Finally, the crate was in reach. Luna eased open the top. Suddenly, she felt hands on her shoulders.
That's what I got so far.
