Eps. 2 ~ EDITED
EXT. DOCKS IN EVERGREEN MEADOWS - LATE AFTERNOON
A girl KATHERINE 'KAT' MOLLISHINE (14), stands alone at the edge of the same dock (or what was left of the dock) the figure had stood on a couple of hours before. Also like the figure, she had a transmitter. Her eyes scan what she was in the midst of; the outcome of an explosion.
KATHERINE: Gail? Do you read me, Gail?
*A crackling noise comes from the transmitter, then GAIL CANDLEHEART'S (16) voice breaks through.
GAIL: I read you loud and clear. What's going on?
KATHERINE: Glancing around again Looks like a TNT blew up. Did the boss say anything about ordering dynamite?
GAIL: Uh . . . not that I recall. What would he need dynamite for?
KATHERINE: confused I'm not sure. We'll have to talk to the boss about this. I'll see you later at the hideout. Over and out.
Katherine turns off her radio, the confused look still on her face. She looks around yet again.
KATHERINE: To herself Must of been Lucky who did this . . .
EXT. PRESS CONFERENCE ROOM 1A7, EVERCITY
Three people are sitting at a very large table. The man at the head of the table EMPEROR LUCKY (52) *folds his hands on the tabletop and looks at the two other people ACE and APRIL CLOCKPINE (18).
LUCKY: General, Captain, I would like to talk too you about the past few days. General, I would like to congratulate you on leading your regiment of troubleshooters to push back those pesky rebels.
Ace smirks and leans back in his chair, winking at April, who makes a face.
LUCKY (cont.): But I feel you could have done more, you could have captured that scouting party. I feel like both of you could do more than you are doing. Like Captain Clockpine, you could have tried not to blow up part that dock while completing your task.
April looks shocked, and slightly offended
APRIL: But Emperor, by blowing up part of the dock it will be harder for the rebels to unload weapons and other things that could be useful to them.
Lucky lifts an eyebrow at her
LUCKY: Yes, that's one thing. But did you think that we use that dock also?
April's face turns a bit red as she stares ashamedly at her helmet on the table.
LUCKY (cont.): So, I have come too the conclusion that you two need a new helper. That is why I have hired a new helper to take your place, Ironblast.
Ace's jaw drops, and he tries to regain his composure.
ACE: But sir, I have been training those troubleshooters for a month to get rid of those rebels. You can't replace me with someone else now.
LUCKY: smiling slyly Oh yes I can, General. Oh, I'm sorry, I mean Captain. That is what you will be from now on, Captain Ironblast. I have decided to hire Zinnia Brasslance. Her father was a five-star general. I know I can expect the same from her. Zinnia, you may enter.
Ace and April quickly turn to see the doors open, and ZINNIA BRASSLANCE (18) enters. She smirks and bows low
ZINNIA: Salutations, Emperor.
INT. LUKAS' WORKSHOP - CONT.
Katherine, Gail, and WEST BRAIZEWALKER (27) are sitting down in chairs.
KATHERINE: Well sir, I think Lucky did this. Part of the dock is gone, and Lucky does those sort of things. I mean if you wanted to, sir, Gail could bring her forensic kit to look for finger prints.
WEST: standing up and chuckling That won't be necessary, Kat. It definitely sounds like something Lucky would do. I suggest we go around and try to stop him. I have some weapons that will be delivered in Engine Bay. We are intercepting them there instead of the dock in Evergreen Meadows. I think that Lucky and his crew will be waiting for us. It's vital that we get there soon, so that is why we will camp there and wait for the shipment's arrival. I'm guessing Lucky is gathering all the weapons he can find and destroying the excess. I have a pair of pistols for all three of us. It is all I have, but hopefully we won't have to use them.
West looks at the things on the table, which are camping supplies
WEST: Is that everything we need?
Kat and Gail nod
WEST: Good, let's move out.
INT. SECRET BASE - CONT.
CHRIS: Board still in his hands Oh no, not the dynamite . . .
Everyone in the room groans
RAVEN: I told you Chris! We should have waited on that shipment until next week, we would have had more time to pick it up.
Chris sits down in a chair and puts his head in his hands
CHRIS: You're right. We should have been more careful in our planning. If we are going to beat Lucky and his followers, we are going to have to work together. As a team.
A small cheer goes up in the room
RENNA: Ha, we could beat him with our eyes closed!
Chris stands on his chair, and everyone quiets
CHRIS: It's not going to be that easy, Renna. But if we're going to defeat Lucky, we're going to need some weapons. And to get those, we are going to need another scouting party. Do we have any volunteers?
*Everyone's hand goes up, Chris smiles.
End of Eps. 2 ~ Edited
@Jane_Gogglerubble, sorry this took a while, Christmas was pretty busy. I should have the other episodes posted by tomorrow or thereabouts. Also, hopefully this format will be easier to read than screenshots.
