I agree, but there are some episodes that have heavier themes or focus on God more. There's a (sort of) spin-off album called "The Truth Chronicles" and most of the episodes have a big spiritual theme. The Novacom and especially the Blackgaard Chronicles have a very heavy spiritual war. They also have a spinoff series called "Passages" where two siblings are transported into a different dimension, where they help Darius (David) and Fletcher (Gideon). And of course there are heavier episodes sprinkled through the archive.

And you do gotta remember that they are made for little kids, but the fact that they are able to tie Bible Verses to kid's situations for over 30 years, I find it impressive.

I thought that you could not outgrow adventures in Odyssey too and I tried listening to an episode 2 months ago but the squeaky high voices and the loud noises and everything just kind of started to annoy me so it was hard for me to actually want to listen to it now. I can understand why kids love that kind of loud noisy kind of stuff but when you get older sometimes you get a little tired of it.

I agree I think the adventures in Odyssey shows are very well done maybe it's true that the newer episodes are more annoying to me but there was some really good episodes and adventures in Odyssey that taught me many good Christian views and things and help me get over some things in my own life.

Like the episodes where Eugene and penny started dating and Penny broke up with Eugene because he wasn't a Christian and she wanted to take time away from him and eventually because of that Eugene started to be curious and want to know about God and he did any accepted Jesus Christ the savior and I think it's great because Eugene is a brainiac and he thought that his intelligence meant that there could not be a God and the episode where he becomes a Christian really was a good . I think a lot of The adventures in Odyssey episodes could definitely bring children to accept Jesus Christ as their savior. the gospel message is clearly portrayed throughout all the episodes and Christian morals are also taught.

It's not that kids shouldn't know the truth but it's how you tell them and what you tell them about it they don't need to know all the information from the start they can know parts of the story that are appropriate for their age group.

When I was ten years old I read the ENTIRE Bible cover to cover...it was fun. And put the fear of the Lord in me.

I’ve listened to every single episode, most three or four times. In all of my listening, I’ve not heard a Gospel presentation once. There’s the problem.

Yes it does actually if you listen to all the episodes Connie gets saved and becomes a Christian so does Eugene and you hear their stories and how they accepted Jesus Christ, also Wooten shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a boy and he got saved in that episode and there was one other episode where there was a married couple and the wife shared the gospel with her husband and he became a Christian too.

There's also the Christmas specials that have the story of Jesus in it and it's all about Christian values and Christian living. I think that adventures in Odyssey is not a substitute for church and most people that listen to it already attend church and have been exposed to the gospel and hear it I think it simply just to show for Christian families and kids to learn about Christian morals and values it does not replace church so you can expect it to have all the theology it's not a Bible study or a Bible course it's just to show that's friendly for Christian families I think it would be better if people were listening to adventures in Odyssey then watching a secular show that doesn't have Christian values and morals in it.

Wow, Mr_A8. I've heard the Gospel presented a lot, just mostly not complete. Way back (like, albums 1-3), Connie was becoming a Christian. While this was going on, the gospel message was spread out through the episodes. You can't just listen to individual episodes and judge the whole series by just them.

While I have been known to criticize AIO, I still think that it has kept its biblical message (mostly) intact. I have a letter I wrote to Odyssey that essentially sums up my feelings about AIO, if anyone wants to read it...
