Ive been trying to get past goats for months. It seems impossible. Do I need better wepons or something? Ive read some of the advice on the forum but I dont relly understand it. I have made it to the final "Billy" goats a couple of times only and they seem OP. One time they killed me with one hit and I had full health from using up all my Aether to heal myself. Very frustrating. [And then also you have no aether left for the next go]

Hey, @Terrance_Anglenose1. Glad to see you came here for help, since it's obviously the BEST place to get it!

I totally understand how it can be hard to get past those annoying Automatons. My main advice is to get some help, extra people coming along to fight will definitely increase your chances of taking the win. It can get frustrating at times, but it's definitely worth it for all the great prizes you get.

In regards to your question about better weapons, you can win using anything, but sometimes there's better combinations that you can utilize to your advantage. I really recommend the water-ice combination of weapons or oil-fire combination.

The really bad goat is the last one, yeah. While it does feel like he's OP, there's actually an easy way to stay alive long enough to trash him. Just douse yourself with a bit of water and his weird little rocket specials cause MUCH LESS damage.

I found that the best strategy is to either take down the Matron (yellow goats) or the boss ones down first. Those are the type with the worst damage or synergy capabilities.

Hey there!

I have advice.

Friends really help. Though I defeated them without friends, I would have passed them the first time if I did have friends. I must have had a stroke of luck on the second time.
Try damaging the Middle Goat first. I'm not sure why, but for some reason it works out for me.
Try not to use a weapon that will hit every Goat. This will increase their rage, and it would be better for them to not be rages then rage.
I was lucky when the Little Goat said "Will get revenge" and my special on the pistols killed him. I wasn't sure how it was possible, but I guess I have a tip: the Little Goat is probably most vulnerable to the pistols.
Dynamite, like @Xonos_Darkgrate1 said, is really efficient against goats. And if you want to do electricity, try watering them with water first. Electricity + Water = Perfect Pals & Oil + Fire = Best Buddies
Stock up on Aether. You're smart to get Aether. It proves to be efficient. Trust me.
They're defeatble. Don't worry, they are. Best of luck!

Here's a tip with friends. When they join, it doubles the health of the automatons. And doubles again if another person joins. But, it also halves if they leave. I used this to my advantage. When your low, leave and get there as quickly as possible. That's what I did.

my brother and I found out that the best way is to use things that hurt once, because each time you hit them there rage makes there damage to you go up, so use things like hammers, guns and dynamite.

Thanks everybody for the replys. I get the oil + Dynamite combo but what do you use for water + electricity? Like what do I use to make electricity happen?

@Terrance_Anglenose1, at this point, there's two different electricity using weapons. A hammer and a gauntlet. Try looking in your crafting book for them. If they aren't there, then you probably have to keep playing through the game to unlock the blueprints. Hope this helps!

Help! i need to find Roses Toolbox in bottom deck but i can't find it! Also i keep on getting defeated by the three billy goats gruff! if anyone knows how to help plz say goat in comments and come to the bottom deck of the flying l plz!

The lower decks of the flying l are really just a big maze.To find it just keep walking around until you see it. (by the way there is a goat guarding it)

You can see the tool box across the gap when you first enter the lower decks. To get there isn't that bad once you understand how the place is setup. Bring oil and dynamite for the boss fight and remember to DO NO DAMAGE when they have the red shield up.

To get across the map, think about it as a letter U. You start in the upper left side, you have to get down to the bottom, cross the zone, and then make your way back up.

I've been wandering around lower decks grinding goats for hours and can't find my way to Rose's toolbox... so frustrating when I can see it, just can't get to it! Anyone online now to help out?

I'm having problems getting to it as well. I can see it. But get killed, especially by the goat guarding it, before I can get to it. I am now playing under my granddaughter's name, Allysa G.

You want to find the tool box? Then listen very carefully. It is at the exit of the lower decks. And the goats at the end, fight them one at a time. Again ONE AT A TIME. You fight one, make shore you finish them. It took me 7 times to get past them. The red goat, you don't finish it, it will do a over kill of 156 hit points at its super move if not destroyed all the way. May you get out of there alive soldier.
