Saturday:
We spend the afternoon and evening speed-deep-cleaning the house and decorating the tree. Aunt D. arrives at about 10 pm. We talk for a while before she falls asleep on the couch.
Sunday:
We go to our morning church service, stop somewhere to eat and then head downtown to take a walking tour. On the way home, we stop by a different neighborhood to look at Christmas light displays. Then we go home and play Apples to Apples; Dad wins. Everyone goes to bed exhausted.
Monday:
We wake up around brunch time and relax at home for a while. Dad takes Aunt D. out on a tour of his work, Mom goes out to work at church and my sister and I laze around in front of the computers. In the evening we all join Mom at church for the Christmas Eve service, and then go right back home. Aunt D. has to leave the next morning, so we open all the presents early. I receive TobyMac's new CD (called it, @Sierepica_Fuzzywalker, heh!), a couple movies, some art supplies and the entire Harry Potter book series. Then we have pot roast for dinner (but my sister and I don't like it). D. falls asleep on the couch again and everyone goes to bed. . . Except me. I stay up until two in the morning reading Harry Potter.
Tuesday:
I wake up in the morning to say goodbye to D. as she leaves, then I watch one of my new movies (Inside Out!!!!!!) and then go back to bed. In the afternoon, once everyone is awake, my sister and I do our stocking stuffers: A couple books, random toys and gadgets and lots of sweets. Then we laze around for the rest of the day.
